Verizon enV3 phone issues!?

My phone is all screwed up. Has been like this since day won when i got it. There is a blinking arrow in the status bar, its says i have to check initialize when i want to browse, and when i want to look at the pictures that i have taken, its says write script! I have tried doing the *228 thing but it doesn't work... and suggestons??

Blinking arrows mean data, script issues are another story. First make sure backup assistant is installed and your contacts are synced with Verizon, back up your pics, or take out your SD card if that's where they are, and from the security menu pick restore phone, this will wipe EVERYTHING and put back to factory, it is much more invasive than a master reset! After you will get a message saying programming required. After you call *228 and reload the phone, re download backup assistant and restore your contacts. If you still have the issue you need to go to a shop that does repairs or put in a ins claim for a new phone.
