vacation for under $2000?

what is a good vacation for under $2000 for one adult and two kids. i live in washington state and i dont want to fly across the country

Wish you had said if it was for 1 week or 2 AND if it was a summer or winter vacation;

Vancouver; Has both the ocean & the mountains. A big enough city that there is lots to do but small enough to be easy to get around.

Salt Lake City; In recent years has turned into a good family town. A good base to explore the surrounding area.

The Grand Canyon or Yellowstone; Weather permitting, the national parks are a great bargain.

San Francisco' There is always something to see or do there.

umm, how about you take a train to seattle and take a cruise. or you can take a train to new york or boston. or you can drive to florida is hot in the winter and hotter in summer so if you want to do that is a great place for kids to... and much more!! hope you have a nice trip!!!
