i was thinking to buy an iphone 3gs with the latest firmware 3.1.3. the thing is I don't use AT&T, I use tmobile. I heard rumors saying that I cannot unlock or jailbreak an iphone 3gs on the latest firmware.
i don't want to get it if i can't unlock or jailbreak it or if i have to use the unlocked phone on a downgraded version. what are the disadvantages and advantages of unlocking and or jail-breaking it?
