Unlocking an at&t phone to use on t-mobile?

I have an android from t-mobile and it started to frustrate
me and now im not into touchscreen phones. My good
friend showed me a simple messaging phone hes gonna
give me as a christmas/birthday present. Its the samsung
evergreen but sadly its at&t. So when he buys it for me
can I take it to the t-mobile store so they can unlocked it
for me? Will I still be able to use web and picture messaging still?

You should either approach AT&T or third party unlock websites and not T-Mobile.The network provider will unlock only if their terms are satisfied.If they deny the request you can very well get the unlocking for your phone from unlock websites like, Wickedunlock.com and remove the network restriction permanently in your Samsung Evergreen.They also provide free instructions that will aid you in the unlocking process.
