My husband was just informed that through a work contest he has won a seven day trip to Maui, HI. This vacation is something that we would never beable to do financially on our own so as you can imagine Im at a loss as to where to begin. What was given to us was airfare, hotel and 1000.00 spending money. We only have 8 weeks until our trip and know that 1000.00 probably wont cut it for entertainment. I am seeking advice from travelers who live a modest life and make a modest living. We want to make the most of this vacation b/c I dont think we will ever have another opportunity quite like this one, yet we have to be careful not to go overboard with expenses. Also, I am looking for tips on what sites and activites to do while we are there. Thank you for your help
