Well I just got informed that U.S cellular is shutting down their service in my town so I'm looking at switching to T-mobile. Many companies and people have my number and If I get a new one I'd have to call up a bunch of people so my question is can I transfer it? Also can I do this online since there aren't any stores nearby? I tried online earlier but it asked me for a billing account number but idk what that is.

if you look at your bill from u.s cellular you should have an account # that is what they are looking for..

if you tried to do it, then why are you asking if you can? yes you can do it on line or over the phone or at radio shack or any place that sells t-mobile phones (other then places like e-bay)

YES, moving your number over is called "porting" which can be done easily and free by phone most of the time. You will have to get a new phone to use on T-Mobile too.
