Toyota, Dodge, or Ford? Which would you choose?

I am looking for a first car and I like the Toyota MR2 Spyder but I also have the choice of a '99 Dodge Ram 1500 Truck or a ninety-something Ford Taurus. The Dodge needs a new battery, it wont stay running long enough after you jump it to charge, and the steering is really loose. The Ford probably needs new tires, the bumper is cracked, it hasn't moved in about 10 years, and needs some battery sensor or the battery dies even when the car is off because it can't tell if its running. I think the Ford is out because I don't want to fix all of that and it probably has wasps snakes and who knows what else living in it. The Toyota we would have to buy and we would most likely have to go out of state to buy it, get a temporary tag to drive it back,and register it here. Any advice?
