I used to be able to make Data disks with DVD-R disks, now iv changed my hard drive and my computer only recognizes CD-R when i try to burn some data?
Error message "Please insert disk" when i try to burn data to DVD-R disk but works fine when burning data to CD-R. Also it cant read and data disks from DVD-R i made from the same computer in the past with the old hard drive, is my new hard drive missing some sort of driver or something? Windows XP computer bought from Dell about 4-5 years ago (Dell 5150). It will let me play commercial CD`s, Burn CD`s and burn data to CD-r. It wont let me do anything with a DVD-R disk anymore, wont even recognize one, please help
