Steam is blowing out of my car's vents when the A/C or blower is on?

It happened around noon today and then it stopped after I shut my car off for about 20 minutes. I haven't turned it back on in fear that something is wrong. It looks just like steam (white smoke) and when I put my hand in front of it, my hand becomes wet. We just recently installed a new A/C compressor. It doesn't smell like freon or acid or anything like that. Any suggestions/tips?

My dad is an ASE certified automotive technician and I do plan on getting it to him ASAP. He mentioned the heater core but I really couldn't hear what he was saying because of some idiot laying on his horn in traffic...but we will figure it out soon enough. I'm just curious as to what it might be.
When he mentioned the heater core, he wasn't saying that the heater core was the problem. He was trying to explain to me how the heat and A/C work in order to identify the problem but I didn't grasp everything he said. And no, if you read the question you would see that I do not smell anti-freeze.
