I am installing a sound system in my 2003 mazda protege lx and need help figuring out how to install either a powered 10" or 12" subwoofer or a shallow mount subwoofer of the same size + amplifier.
I need to know which is easier and would fit in my rear bench seat, how i would accomplish it or if it would be easier to mount it under the seat somehow. i'd like to use a powered sub but need to figure out how to vent it because i've heard they can get hotter. also going with my subtle sound system theme which deck supports this but still looks somewhat factory iphone integration would be nice. if you have other ideas on how to hide a decent sounding sound system they are appreciated thanks
