snow hiking essentials (Mt Islip)?

i'm pretty sure im covered in the basics, ten essentials, etc, food but at an altitude of 8,250 ft, i want to make sure i didn't forget anything at home, so is there anybody that has hiked the mt islip trail in angeles national forest, or basic snow hikers please feel free to answer as well;
can you tell me what i should bring for an extra amount of preparedness????
