I have an HTC one and i was wondering if i should switch to stock android. I like the look and quickness of stock android better than sense but i do like the sense features like Zoe and blinkfeed. Do you guys think that i should root and flash the Google edition rom (not cyanogen mod) or stay with sense.

Also if i flash the Google edition rom will i have to keep flashing roms to upgrade android versions or does it update directly with the rom thats installed?

Thanks

If you flash a Google Play edition ROM you will have to update to new android versions yourself.

There is a way to make your HTC One a "true" Google Play Edition that will get updates but it's a lot more complicated than simply rooting and flashing a ROM. You can find details here:

If I were you I'd try using Nova or Apex launcher for a while and see if that gives you enough of the "stock" feel. Personally I prefer stock to any skin, but it's down to your own taste.
