I'm 21, have a good job that I've only been at for about 4 months and I make about 2200+ before taxes every month. I still live with my parents and don't spend money on much really.
I completely understand the reasoning behind not having a car payment. I like it. However, I LOVE cars. It’s not about living beyond my means, or “showing” off, or keeping up with the neighbors. I genuinely love cars. I go to auto shows, I even go to dealer lots just to test drive and look at cars. I don’t like having the $400+/month payments, but at the same time, I feel as if I wouldn’t be enjoying my life as much if I don’t drive a car I really like. Any advice???
