Serious question: Does Karate suck?

I've been doing karate for 11 years now and I'm a black belt but I suck at it. Whenever I go to championships I always lose to orange belts which is embarrassing. I only earned the black belt because I always pass the tests (katas, e.t.c) but when it comes to actually fighting people, I suck.

Does karate suck? Or does the club I go to suck?

Have you ever thought that maybe you just suck? You're so quick to blame everyone else around you, but you can't even look at yourself.
