I would use a search engine to find some reviews on this phone. You can also look on Youtube to see if this phone has been reviewed yet.
You can buy the phone and airtime card and try the phone out. If it does not work like you want it to you can return it to Wal-Mart. You have 30 days to return a Straight Talk phone to Wal-Mart for your money back. Straight Talk also offers a 1 year replacement though them. So if your phone does not work within a year of purchase and they can not fix your phone through over the air programming, they will send you a replacement phone.
I have use Tracfone and Net10 phones for 11 years. I have never had any major problems with my phones. If I bought a phone that did not work correctly, I was sent a phone as a replacement that was either the same phone or one of equal value.
