parents due to my political views.? we were talking about live, people in general, and i told him that i wish the world were different, that i wish everybody can live happy, in nice places.. I told him that i hate that NY is dirty, that BX, Queebs adn Bkly are dirty and that major should make a better job etc. I told him that there are other cities in the world that are kept better than NY etc.....Well... i dont understand why, but now he accused me of being a socialist ( and i am not) of hating the USA, and being wierd. he told me that Not everybody deserve nice things unless they work for it..etc... And iknow that,. but i wasnt talking about working hard or being lazy and living in welfare.. i was talking about life in general that i wish that some poeple in the world stop suffering, speacially the poor, kids and eldery, and i wish that pain doesnt exist... HE got soo mad... and now he said he is not wiliing to introduce me to his parents bc I AM WIERD.............and he mixed that up with more political stuff and about being republican, and capitalism and bunch of crap that i dont even care.......... He accused me to hate USA only bc i told him that there is sooo much corruption here.. But just bc i said that, doesnt mean i hate this country.. I love it with all my heart... and cant make him understand that.... he judge me sooo bad,, and honestly i dont understand why... why>?????

I dont know what was the crime I made by saying that.. can somebody explain???? what i said was thatttt wrong....??
He is white american 26 and i am white latin 28. I dont believe in any govt in general bc i think no govt in the world will fix the world... and he is republican and talk to me about capitalism. etc etc..
and that i should not think in that way..... is he right>??????

i am soo sad.. he sounds like if i said something horrible, called me ignorant. He said that he loves me etc.. But i dont believe him anymore. he wass so serious, that he said he didnt want to listen to me, that i am wierd and he wanted to hang up on me and he did... his parent are very republican and wealthy , i dont know if thats why their pt of view is differnt than mine,,, but i still dont understand why he reacted like that.... he takes politics soo seriously, Not even the President take stuff like that soo personal like he does.... what should i do?
its soo wierd. He sound insulted. he keeps saying that if BX,Queens and Bkly get repair, peopl will leave bc value will rise...etc etc et.. But i was talking about economic effect etc.. i was talking in general that i hope the world were different, that in this city there is many lazy people true, but there are many childrn and old people that suffer and that is sad...and shouldnt be like that.
Well.. he felt insulted, he thinks i am stupid. I am wondering what will he says if i tell him that i wish peace for the whole world..

I think that you should say that what you meant was that you wish that NY was just cleaner, and that there were more job opportunities to clean and repair places like Queens and Brooklyn, therefore reducing the need for welfare. Say that you're not TOO big into politics, but you didn't mean we don't NEED a government, because we do. You're just not really big into politics, is all.
