question about bluetooth?

If I have my bluetooth turned on my phone but do not use it, is it still using up my battery power? I've had it on all day and my battery is half dead and I have hardly used my phone at all.

As long as you are not using that device to transfer or receive files, it will not use up your battery. Its your battery that has problem. Try to charge it in off mode. If you get the same result, you have to replace it for your convenience.
