I try to connect to the wireless internet in my house on my psp but it says "not supported" any reasons why?

I truly wish people who didnt know what they were talking about, wouldnt talk.
why in the hell would anyone think that you need to remove your security to hook up a psp? my guess is that #1. they dont have a psp or any wireless device, #2. they dont own a wireless network, #3. They couldnt figure how to build the network so they settled on a $200 firedog installation.

There could be a few reasons why you would get this error.
Check to see that the router is broadcasting an 802.11B signal
next, check to see it NAT, DHCP, UpNP are all enabled
I do not know if linksys has put out any new routers that support the 104 bit wep encryption, but if that is the case, that encryption level is not supported on the psp. change it to wpa or make a client list.

This sometimes happen to me when i want to get on the internet and connect to my wireless routuer.

Don't worry this happen to me so many times.
If you have a lot of internet connections then for some odd reason it messes up every time you try and go to the internet.
delete the extra connections you have on your PSP.
That's what i did and my internet works better.
Also and update is probably needed.
trry and download from you PSP.

i think you gotta get updates for ur psp first..
Try finding the updates on the internet, download it to ur computer and transfer it to ur psp..
It happened to me n i had to update my psp..
