Hi Guys,
I am writing a fiction fantasy story and my first instinct was to go for a prophecy to tell the hero why they should do what they do. However, they are used a lot. I wondered what your guys opinion of prophecies were and the other things you would like to see other than them?
I have a few other options, including:
- Birth Right? (So the reason she does certain stuff is cuz she was born to do it)
- Tattoo? Branding? Birthmark? (some form of marking showing her as the hero)
- Just being in the right place at the right time? (she is asked to stay and help so does, turning her into the hero)
- A bit cheesy but to get home she has to help?
Please help guys i would love to know your opinions
