Out of all the religions why did Judaism and Christian survive to modern times?

Hinduism Buddhism and islam also survived. All the religions of the ancient world pass away Why?

They didn't "pass away" you still get their followers in small cults here and there.

Uhm, maybe because the "extinct" religions actually professed that the Gods had physical interactions with the world that obviously weren't happening, which is the reason that the other religions immediately dropped those claims and made other "nebulous" claims that are impossible to verify, but, with word play, easy to "redirect" doubt.

My guess is that people prefer a single ultra powerful god instead of many. It is a form of evolution where the best meme survives. However, judaism and christianity has evolved as well, such as the introduction of the devil and hell into christianity.

People use to believe hell is underground and heaven above the clouds. Now, no one believes that.
People now believe their god is outside this universe and outside time.
Since evolution theory has been well established, most christians now believe the genesis story to be a allegory.
