Nokia N95 - SIM card not valid?

I got Nokia N95 on ebay, when I insert AT&T 3G SIM card I get message saying "SIM card not valid". I'm not sure whats the problem... If its locked, is there any way I can know it for sure that the phone is locked?? Or what else could it be??

the N95 is locked to a particular network. if it was sold as unlocked demand your money back. if you used paypal try them but don't hold your breath!

It's 100% Locked Nokia N95..While inserting other GSM Sim card if its displaying "Insert Valid Sim" it's under network lock,find the network it locked now,country? get the unlock code from the site
Prounlocking.com/nokia/rs8wp8/ and Nokia N95 from network lock.Then use any GSM Network sim card.
