Never really been a fan of sci fi movies, let alone a star trek fan but?

I must admit that the new star trek movie was pretty good. I really enjoyed Khan is the coolest and best vilian ive seen this year. What are your thoughts.

Of all the different things in Star Trek why rehash this particular character. Why didn't they do a movie involving Kirk's best friend Gary Mitchell? What didn't they do a movie about the hollow world that Kirk and Spock had to save? This is tiresome and it was done better with Shatner. Abrams is a hack. He couldn't come up with a better story. I am disappointed.
