myself now? Okay first of all I want to learn to groom my own dog. I have the equipment and after today I'm tired of paying out money for haircuts and they never turn out right.
This is todays haircut (I will add that my grandmother trimmed down his face and ears his face looked bichon and his coat was shaved way too close on the rest of him)
He is a Toy Poodle: (Can you give me some tips)
Here is todays hair cut first

He looks a little more like him in those photos after we trimmed him a bit
Here is how we usually keep him

I just want to keep him in a basic puppy clip
thanks
40 dollars every few weeks is rediculous for a bad hair cut (we have been to several groomers) and my grandmother knows how to do it (she used to have poodles) but ofcourse we didn't have much to work with after the groomers got done (you can see his skin he has virtually no fur on his body except his head) Might as well do it myself, she will teach me but any tips would help
My husband and I just don't feel that shelling out 40 bucks every few weeks for a bad haircut is worth it, (why not save the money and we need it for when the dogs get sick and stuff and just do it ourselves)
