What should i publish my adobe flash/macromedia flash animations as? I tried the default publish which is a .swf file but it wont open on sony vegas. Sony vegas is a video editing software just like windows movie maker(Just for people who dont know). After some reasearch i heard about using a converter to switch the files from flash to a regular video file like .flv , avi, mp4, etc. I checked how the converted file looked and it seemed almost identical to the original flash file but a bit less in quality. The video file it got converted into was a mp4 video 1920x1080 and the quality was good but once i put it into sony vegas it looked way worse! I tried publishing it on sony vegas hoping it was just the preview screen that was crappy but it was still bad. NOW what im asking is what is your method on animating using your flash animator then moving it to a movie program????
