Alright so recently my dad bought me a Volkswagen Jetta 2005 and the trunk appeared to be working just fine. Just today, I went to put something in it, and it would not open. I already tried:
the trunk button on the key
using the key to unlock the trunk
the trunk button at the front of the car
the emergency latch inside the trunk
The battery seems to be in good shape because the gas nozzle tank still opens and the car still starts normally. Everything seems to be circumstantial, but the trunk will not open whatsoever. I folded the seats back to get to the emergency latch but that did not work either.
