my samsung galaxy S1 keeps making noises?

My phone keeps making noises randomly. not just when locks and un locks or turns on, it makes noises just randomly.

any suggestions ? i don't kn ow if i've messed up a seting or something. the phone is 18 months old and has been dropped a few time etc but i haven;t done any damage in long time this just occured randomly

This is mostly a software problem
Take a backup and do a factory reset
It should solve the issue
