my phone is broken should i go to the store i brought it from or sony erricson?

My phone wont turn on or charge... I think there is a fault with the charging jack, I've googled it and it appears the xperia mini pro has a charging problem. I've had the phone for less than a year so I'm hoping it'll still go under the warranty.... Should I take it back to Phones4u the store I brought it from? or should I go to Sony Erricson since it's their model?
