My molly fish had babies, she appears to be pregnant again but how can i tell? She had 20+ babies one night. her tank was kinda in a darkish place so i couldn't really tell she was pregnant, she did not look as big as any pregnant molly i have looked up before. i bought her pregnant. she killed my female dalmation molly, which is when i noticed little black fry swimming behind the plants. she acted normal except she was fairly aggressive to my dalmation molly, they would even nip at each other.
now that the babies are almost a month old, i read that mollys can be pregnant again because of leftover eggs being fertilized. well she is hiding a lot, she doesn't eat much, and she doesn't swim as much as she used to but once again i still see no stomach on her.
what are some signs of molly pregnancy besides the triangular mark near the gravid spot and a plump belly? how many babies should i expect this time and can they be put in with the remaining almost 1 month old fry?
