Yesterday my friend gave me two little dwarf hamsters, (her hamster gave birth about 2 months ago) and she said that they were too young to know their gender, but later on we both assumed they were two females.
one of them is super hyperactive! all she does is walk on the wheel and walk around fast i the cage, and the other hamster is slow and quiet and ever since i put them there she was in the corner inside the hole she dug for herself sleeping.
then when the hyper hamster comes closer to the quiet one, the quiet one makes a high pitch sound and flinches back, but the hyper hamster didnt do anything to her!
then i noticed that the quiet hamster does a high pitch and like, flinches on her back randomly! when her sister isnt even close to her, and then again, the hyperactive hamster came and attacked the quiet one and she flinches on her back and made a pitch noise. what could it be? is something bugging her?! is it normal?
what can i do about it?
