MY GMC sonoma has STOPPED RUNNING, NOW WONT START, fuel pressure/relay/??

I was driving down the road when it cut off and now it will not start. Itsn like it isnt getting any fuel to engine. THe fuel pump is coming on and pushing fuel at least to the fuel filter. In the past 2months ive had problems with it hesitating a little bit when accelerating. Also every once in a while after driving a little. I hear a clicking noise(coming from behind the glove bx area) after i turn in off. Is my problem a relay possible or is it something with fuel pressure. PLEASE HELP !!!!!!! Im struggling financially right now because of a recent surgery. I really need to fix myself(w/some needed assistance) and as inexpensive as possible. THANKS

Pulled wire coming from coil pack and im getting good spark when trying to crank
Just replaced filter month ago
Took it off earlier and it didnt seemed clogged and i also checked fuel pump was pumping when i had fuel filter off.

bad fuel pump or pump relay
Plugged fuel filter
