Two days ago my mother came round to the house, and she put on one of my DVDs. I hadn't watched it in ages, so anyway halfway through it suddenly froze. I tried to stop the DVD, and it wouldn't let me, it wouldn't even let me eject, I was forced to turn off the power. I checked the disc and found out that the bottom of the disc was sticky, and then I remembered, months ago I knocked a can of coke on a few of my DVDs. This was one of them. Now the DVD player has started acting weird. It won't read most of my discs, the few that it does read freeze after watching them for about 20 minutes. I've tried a disc cleaner, but it hasn't done any good. It's normally such a good reader of discs. Has the sticky disc caused unrepairable damage, or can I still save my DVD player.
