My CD/DVD drive door keeps opening and closing on its own.?

I have a new HP computer with Windows Vista and Norton 360. After I logoff and go to bed, I hear the computer repeatedly opening and closing the CD drive tray. The only time I ever use that drive is to back up using Norton 360, or once in a while I play music. Its like the computer is possessed by demons. I've been turning the computer off to make it stop.
