MT bike V Brake adjusting?

V Brakes..
It seems like I am adjusting my brakes a lot after tire repairs on the trail. when replacing the wheel, I have to adjust my cable fixing bolt so the ve brakes grab properly, and also let the tire spin. is it normal to have to do this every time I fix a flat?

As Brother Trucker answered, it's not normal.

You should only need to unclamp the cable pinch bolt when you're either replacing the cable or if you replace the brake pads with those of a different thickness. Otherwise, once your brake is properly adjusted, you don't loosen the pinch bolt. Ever.
