...help? This is driving me nuts! Added DVR to our account, so we had to go pick up an HD DVR cable box today and swap out our regular HD box. On our regular HD cable box, our programming guide, On Demand menu and regular menu all displayed in the 16x9 ratio, filling our screen. This one letterboxes all menus, including the guide. This is bad for us because we sit a ways from the TV, and with it being small in the middle of the screen, it's hard to read.
I waited 4 hours, more than enough time for the guide to load, then powercycled it and went into the configurations menu. It was already set to 16x9. Two hours later, problem still persists. Comcast's only solution is to send a tech out, at a service fee charge for me.
Any of you techs out there know how to fix this?
