I've the coil a year now and haven't had too many problems however I have now been spotting/light bleeding for 14 days which did started when my period was due...then I seemed to stop but on having sex it started again. Then last night instead of it being bright red colour it's gone darker with clots. I have started on a nasal spray called synarell that stops ovulation. So I am wondering if the hormone on the coil is stopping the spray from switching off my ovaries. I did used to be on the spray and didn't have a period for 9 months. I have a couple of times while just having the coil that me period has gone for 11 days.
