4 months ago I was tested on many things in my blood, only things high were ast 57 and alt 127. Have since cut way way back on drinking and started eating much better with mostly fruits and veggies. Also was taking milk thistle. Just got another test done and everything is back to normal now. My ast was 32 and alt was 41. My question is how normal is it to lower the enzymes like that in only 4 months. I thought it would take much longer to lower them but I am happy they are normal finally. The only thing I have to get down a little bit now is my cholesterol which is slightly high. Thanks for any help.
