LG Viewty on Fido Network?

Hi,
I bought an LG Viewty in Asia and brought it back to Canada with me. I slipped my Fido sim in, and have been able to make calls and send text messages.
However, the roaming symbol is constantly on, and I'm unable to receive text messages.
On my screen it does say that im connected to the Fido network.
Also, in my messaging options, for the text message centre, the number +15149931126 is there.

Can anyone help me get rid of the roaming symbol, and be able to receive text messages again? Thanks a lot

Did you find a way to solve your problem ? I have exactly the same problem... I bought it in France, I am on Fido also.
