LG Cosmos Touch VS Pantech Hotshot?

I've been having issues with my Cosmos touch and am considering getting the Pantech Hotshot. I'm told it's not a very good phone, but I'm wondering if its better then the cosmos touch. Things I've heard bad about the Hotshot: Bad Call Quality, Freezes, Turns itself off. Is the call quality worse then the cosmos?

The Hotshot and Crux are both horrible phones. My screen would always go white and only came on when the phone was in the locked position. The phone froze all the time, never charged unless positioned at the perfect angle, replaced chargers and that never helped. Got overcharged on Verizon as they claimed my phone accessed webpages, it always turned itself off and even though it was fully charged acted as if it were dead and I'd have to fully charge it again. Thus I shorted out 1 battery (bloated it)

The LG Extravert is the upgrade to the Cosmos touch. There were a lot of small issues with the Cosmos that are indeed fixed with the Extravert.
