laptop battery not charging?

i think ur battery might be dead.
tip: when recharging make sure the battery is completely used out

My laptop works when it is plugged in via AC adapter, however the battery will not charge. The power indicator on my task bar says "plugged in, not charging."

Any ideas?

it means the cells on your battery wont hold a charge any longer, you need to replace it.
