what happened to Kenny Rogers roasters i know they went bankrupt in the late 90's after flourishing in the early and mid 90's why did they go bankrupt? and why isnt kenny rogers bankrupt? did he just invest some money in the roasters and lend his name to them then reap a pay check how do these businesses work? also the business was listed as a franchise which is where the owners of the company dont have any financial investment in each branch they just get a percentage? so Kenny Rogers still made a decent amount of money through the chain before it went bankrupt?
