Just for Laughs, review: as a comedy venue, the O2 turns out to be a bit of a joke

The world’s largest international comedy festival, Just for Laughs (a Montreal-based institution), made its London debut towards the end of last week and over the weekend, with four days of shows held in and around the O2 Arena, ranging in tone from the white-knuckle alternative rowdiness of Stamptown to huge and stately variety shows fronted by such national treasures as Graham Norton.
