Maybe it's because J. Crew has sensed that a lot of women are pretty over the use of the word "skinny" to sell everything from highly unhealthy, chemical-filled cocktails to stretch denims. Or maybe it's just an err in advertising--but for whatever reason, the clothier has decided that skinny jeans just aren't skinny enough, so they've gone to the slimmest thing imaginable: The toothpick.
