Isn't whining about the "liberal media" just an excuse for not wanting to do

your job as a candidate? Anybody remember the Democratic Primary debates? They hit Obama HARD with tough questions. He may have wavered and stumbled a bit, but he never outright refused to answer.

Now Mr. "Straight Talk Express" won't even define "honor" in a softball 24-minute interview with Time magazine (September 8, 2008 issue, p.36). What happened? Is he already taking cues from Cheney and Rove to refuse to speak to the American public, using the "liberal media defense" as his shield?

Obama has been given a pass when it comes to media treatment. His drug use has never been explored but Palins husbands 22 year old DUI has made the news. Obama has never had a tough question. He is an empty suit. I am from Chicago originally and the feeling there is he is backed by mob money.

The next two months will prove to be very interesting and hopefully the shields will be shattered and these people (all candidates) won't be able to avoid any straight talk.

No. NBC refused to ask Obama any hardball questions. SNL even made a joke about it.

After the ABC debates, economists said Obama does not understand economics. ABC's Stephanolopous refused to allow Obama to give a non direct answer. When Obama did give an answer it proved Obama was clueless about the economy.

Also after the ABC debate, the Obama camp said Obama should not do any more debates. They knew he can't handle tough questions.
