my dealer just got a 2004 VW GTI trade in with 140k miles on it. it has a water pump leak so it needs to be replaced and also the hood is fairly dented and is missing the grill (mustve been in a minor collision with a bus or something tall because only the hood was damaged not the bumper. plus no frame damage at all). they told me 3k is the lowest they can give it to me at with taxes and title fees. is this a good deal? if not then what should i offer them?
