A few months ago, my CD/DVD drive was replaced by a tech at Micro Center when I took it in to have it repaired for an unrelated issue. I don't know if I ever tried before that point, but it can't currently read DVD-RAM discs, a format I understood to be compatible with most computers released within the last few years. I've suspected lack of honesty there and I want to know for sure if my laptop was never actually able to read DVD-RAMs to begin with. A source would be nice as well in case I need to confront them.
