14 y/o Haseena(girl) she and her family are trying to seek asylum in aus. While on the waters she watches her family drown helplessly. Her case in the detention centre is sympathised (as she is an orphan now) upon and she soon gets out of the detention center. she is adopted by a family and has a hard time settling in and adjusting. she meets an aboriginal girl and they become friends by sharing their life stories. the aboriginal girl is an orphan too. she ran away from her community and is adopted too.
