they get sued for 50,000. ? I read in an article that they tell them if you quit you have to pay back the cost of your training, just checking if its true or not
 
Most departments have a conditional contract for employment that quiting under your set probationary period comes with the penalty of having to reimburse the department for your training expenses. Of course there normally are reasonable exceptions
