ok well ive been asking this for a week no one can give me the correct answer (<--thatshttp://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AtyJQJtavo0fP1HS5JIEui3ty6IX;_ylv=3?qid=20101025221341AAzcaEX)<--thats the url of the other question copy nd paste it 2 see .. anyways so now i just gonna go ahead and ask is it safe to drive my car without the thermostat until i at least get money and buy the new housing for the new thermostat... and if can drive the Car without how far can i go and for how long i don't wanna mess up my car..

well idk if any of y'all have read the last question but i did buy a new cap and yea it spays out all the water out of the reservoir where the water goes in and then my car overheats bad but this was when the thermostat the old one was in now the car actually drives better doesnt overheat nor get cool its just in normal temperature doesnt leak no water at all so i decided to buy the thermostat but because of the manufacture the thermostat is different and i have to get a new thermostat

no the hot water gets stuck before the thermostat because the thermostat wont open so the water pops out of the reservoir tank and i have to add more water but this is only when the thermostat is on
