Is it possible to 'over-clock' my PC to run the new game Dead Space? (Experimental)?

I recently bought the game Dead Space and it doesn't seem to run on my PC...(Which i figured it wouldn't but i needed to try...)

My specs: AMD Athlon 3000+ 1.81 GHz 1Gb f RAM!
Graphics: ATI Radeon X300/X550/X1050 Series

I'm thinking its the lack of GHz... Cause the Graphics card should push hard enough... So i was wondering is there anyway to 'Over-Clock' my processor to give out just over 2.0Ghz?

If Yes HOW and with WHAT!?!
