i have a fiat 1.2L petrol 1999 bravo, i wanted to convert it into a GTI, would this be possible for about a £400 budget? also can this even happen? and if so, where do i find the GTI engine because i dont know if you can fit like a golf gti engine in a bravo...many thanks

No way, apart from the engineering difficulties you do NOT make a GTi type car out of a 1.2 Bravo just by shoe horning in a more powerful engine! You also have to uprate the suspension, brakes and cooling system. Then tell your insurance company who will promptly tell you to get on your bike - or double your insurance cost.

The short answer is no. Far too many items to change to turn it into a viable car. Stick a GTi badge on it or buy a GTi. You know it makes sense.

I honestly dont think you could fit a GTI Vdub engine in a bravo.
And I would be amazed if you can on a £400 budget!

Why not sell the bravo, and buy a golf mk2 GTI or something?
Im not sure if you could get the money for it though..
Just an idea lol
